Personal Statement

Hello. I am Anju Verma. I received MSW from UNC-CH and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My goal as a therapist is to create a supportive, non-threatening environment in which my clients can explore their emotional needs, discuss behavioral issues and overcome barriers that limit their full potential.

Take an open minded approach to client wellness and consider work life, family traditions, cultural and spiritual beliefs when providing counseling. Utilize a strengths based approach in my work with individuals and families. There may be times when we find ourselves stuck in a rut. At other times, challenges of everyday life may make us feel overwhelmed.

We can work together in identifying patterns of behaviors that can be unproductive and prevent us from achieving our potential. If you're ready for a change, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
