Personal Statement

All people at their deepest level want to feel connected with others. I'm not interested in marketing how “I think” I can help you. I am very curious to know what it is you want to work on. Therapy can be scary to get into, but empowering to complete. I creatively explore with people who are ready and committed to participate in figuring out their vulnerabilities. My practice expertise includes managing mood disorders (i.e., bipolar and major depressive disorder) and trauma symptoms. I focus on containing the problem and moving toward a state of healing with Mindfulness and EMDR interventions. I will support you in creating more satisfying relationships by developing new ways to cope with what life throws at you. I have a flexible schedule (evenings/weekends), because not everyone can leave work during the day to go to therapy. I meet with individuals, couples and families who are stuck and seeking emotional growth. This ranges from communication issues to the adjustment from an unforeseen event as well as decreasing anxiety.
