Personal Statement
Therapist profiles can be overwhelming. You may feel like you have to know exactly what you need in order to find a therapist that addresses it. I want you to know that helping you learn what you need is part of therapy. Maybe all you know for sure is that you are emotionally suffering and would like help. My background is working with adoption (all forms), foster care, family loss, trauma, parenting, co-dependency, and more. However, I also help folks from all walks of life reduce their emotional suffering and achieve their goals. Whatever your needs are, I'm happy to see if I can help you suffer less and enjoy life more.
My work is client-led, adoption-competent, trauma-informed, client-centered, anti-racist, accepting of all bodies, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. I approach every client without judgement and with their best interest at heart. The best/fastest way to connect with me to set up an intake screening and initial appointment is through email.
You are your own greatest expert. You carry within you the answer to what you need. My job is to create a comfortable, safe, and nurturing space where your needs and expertise are honored and sacred. Your hard work for yourself is always worth it. You are so very worthy.
