Alison Jacob is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual and marital therapy. With over 15 years of experience as a therapist, and as a graduate of New York University School of Social Work, she brings unique knowledge and therapeutic technique to her to practise. Ms. Jacob maintains a private practice in Schenectady, New York. For several years Ms. Jacob worked as a clinician on an interdisciplinary team at Ellis Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Schenectady, NY, as well as On-Site Psychological Services in Troy, NY. Among her areas of expertise are cognitive behavioral therapy as applied to individual growth and understanding, as well as marital therapy focused on conflict understanding and resolution and developing closeness in relationships.
