Personal Statement
You are taking a courageous step in seeking a therapist and I support you in this courage. Perhaps you are at a crossroads in your life and want to explore what has brought you here and where this stage may lead. I am ready to listen and support you.
I have practiced as a person-centered, relational psychotherapist since 1975. I value our time as an opportunity to begin to know you, and to understand what you may need from our conversations. If you feel my background and my approach might match what you need, I look forward to hearing from you.
I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, sexuality, and difficult childhood experiences. I welcome individuals in recovery from alcohol and drug abuse, and those who would like to explore the place of addictive drugs in their lives. I support my clients to better understand their important relationships, to cope with life changes and transitions, and to balance the need for emotional connection with a strong sense of oneself. I hope I will be able to help you bring some clarity, self-acceptance, and compassion to whatever you are experiencing.
Please note: I meet clients ONLINE ONLY, via Zoom and FaceTime, or by phone.
