Personal Statement
I believe that all people have an innate ability to heal and grow especially with the power of positivity and guidance provided by a supportive and healthy therapeutic relationship. I understand the courage it takes to reach out for support and guidance and am committed to meeting you where you are and walking with you on your journey towards happiness and fulfillment in your life. I am a bilingual (Spanish speaking) Marriage and Family Psychotherapist who works with children as young as 5 years, adolescents, adults, groups and families. I am here to help.
I have extensive experience in the areas of anger management and domestic violence. I am especially passionate about helping clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and sexual, emotional, and/or physical abuse. I am a firm believer in assertiveness training, the power of positivity, and utilizing a mindset of responsibility over victimization.
My overall goal is to guide my clients toward the enhancement of autonomy, development of emotional well-being, and achievement of significant changes that will be maintained long after therapy has ended. You have taken an important first step today. I would be honored to join you on your journey. I am committed to walking with you step-by-step.
