Hi, my name is Zaida Liranzo. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York. I am compassionate and love working with people, and I enjoy working with other human beings as it comes naturally for me. I never feel like I am doing a job, but rather I feel, that my passion to help others makes me feel worthwhile which allows me to be authentic, understanding and encouraging to achieve a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the helping relationship process.

I have a twenty-one-year experience working with Adult individuals with a vast of life challenges including but not limited to Mental Health, Addictions, Trauma, Relationships and Anger Management. My style of counseling is what I call a “pot” as I borrow from various evidenced-based models, theories and interventions to create a unique working plan for everyone I work with. I do, however, draw heavily from the Strength Perspective, Client Center, Motivational Interviewing, Psycho- dynamic, Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavior Therapy to name a few. We will work together always respecting your autonomy and uniqueness as a person I will be honored to form a working alliance with you and be able to allow you to be who you are in a nonjudgmental manner that can foster the development of coping mechanisms enhancing your life quality while promoting overall well-being.
