I am a professional counselor / licensed therapist in Missouri with over 5 years of experience working as a mental health therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, anger, substance use disorder, and addiction. I am also well versed in relationship issues, parenting issues, co-dependence, unhealthy boundaries and first response traumas. I have also helped many people who have suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I am eclectic in my approach. Before finishing my master's degree in professional counseling, I finished my bachelor's degree in medical sciences in Romania. I speak fluent Romanian and Urdu / Hindi. I combine my medical knowledge with psychotherapy for maximum efficiency to help my clients. I often bring humor. I believe in treating someone with respect, dignity, sensitivity and compassion and I do not believe in stigmatizing labels. Living in many parts of the world such as Dubai, England and Romania, I was lucky to be exposed to different cultures and to understand their values. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotional counseling. I also use clinical hypnotherapy and careful relaxation for stress management. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
