Hello, my name is Yesenia Y. Rios and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I also hold the following credentials – NCC - National Certified Counselor, DAAETS – Diplomate, American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, CCI – Certified in Crisis Intervention and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the field of Health Psychology from Northcentral University.

I have always had a passion for bringing healing to people by providing extra support and guidance for a better, happier way of living. My career in mental health spans for over 20 years working with a broad range of clients including children, adolescents, adults, geriatric populations, and their families, with a common goal to help all clients reach their maximum potential and provide the tools needed to last a lifetime.

During my professional career, I have developed the necessary skills to promote a healthy, trusting, and positive therapeutic alliance with those I work with that lead to the achievement of great clinical outcomes. My therapeutic approach is strength based with eclectic evidenced-based treatment modalities that conform to meet the needs of everyone I serve with a secure, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment.
