About

I have a doctoral degree in Psychology, masters in School Psychology, masters in Counseling , and a masters in Criminal Justice. I have 30 years of working within the Criminal Justice System where I provided substance abuse and mental health counseling to inmates and others. My treatment approach is set up to best help the client that I am dealing with and involves the following: Person-Centered , Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive-Behavioral aspects ( REBT). I have and would love to continue working with families , couples, and individuals. I take a systematic approach in order to assist the client or clients and the focus for me is to meet the clients were they are and assist them with increasing the quality of their life. I have also been in private practice in the Atlanta, Georgia area ever since 2003. Due to my time of working within the Criminal Justice System, I have developed skills in assessment and the treatment of individuals suffering from mental health and substance abuse concerns.
