My name is Valerie Anderson and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland. I have been practicing for over 10 years, and have experience working with client's of all ages. My primary focus of treatment has been working with client's struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, and behavioral problems.

My therapeutic approach is inviting and engaging. I feel it is important for the client to decide on the focus of their treatment, and for me to adjust my modality of treatment based on what is most important to the clients. In my practice the most commonly used forms of treatment include cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered, motivational interviewing, solution focused, strengths based, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
