My name is Valerie Farmer Rausseo and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been in private practice for 4+ years and in the mental health field for the last 10 years. I am native to the Chicagoland area, but currently reside in Fort Collins, CO. I love to travel, be outside, do yoga, and am passionate about my work. I have held several professional roles in the mental health field which has given me invaluable experience in working with others. I have worked in inpatient settings, the addiction field, with children, families and couples, and am currently in Private Practice. I also work with women doing spiritual and emotional growth work.
I have a special interest in topics of codependency, family dynamics/dysfunction, woundology, personality typing, spirituality, and boundary setting. By facilitating perspective, understanding and collaborating about goals, and identifying what stands in way towards growth, I utilize active therapy models that incorporate the mind, body and soul to heal.
I provide a safe space for you to explore what stands in your way of personal freedom, both individually, within couples and in families. I am passionate about walking with you as you uncover your inner gold, truth, and navigate your path forward.
