My name is Vacir de Souza. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional in the State of Florida. I have been working as a psychotherapist with over 18 years of experience. I have been helping patients deal with a variety of issues including drug and alcohol addiction, anxiety, depression, grief and coping with life changes. I have been working in several different settings including outpatient and inpatient (addictions rehab and detox in hospital). I use a combination of approaches including cognitive behaviorally oriented, behavior therapy, reality therapy, and I have had training in ABA. My therapy style is client-centered, warm and interactive and I treat everybody with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I can provide counseling and psychotherapy in English, Spanish, and Portuguese languages. I also have more than fourteen years of extensive group therapy experience working with geriatric, chronically ill, and drug and alcohol addicted patients. I look forward to working with you.
