I have been working in the mental health field since 2004 and have been a practicing as a therapist for nine and a half years. I graduated with my Bachelors of Social Work in 2010 and went on to obtain my Master's in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I became a Licensed Master Social Worker in 2011 and after two years of supervision and training, I was approved as a Licensed Certified/Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arkansas.

I have worked with a variety of populations and settings, including but not limited to: outpatient, adult day rehabilitation for people with chronic mental illness (ex: bipolar, schizophrenia, MDD…) case management services, school based, and inpatient services. My treatment approach has a foundation of cognitive behavioral therapy; pulling from numerous other evidence-based therapies (Strength Based, Solution Focused, DBT, Person-Centered, Ego strength, Somatic Experiencing etc.) in order to customize treatment according to each client's needs. I have helped clients with a wide range of issues and concerns, including depression, anxiety, disorganization, trauma and abuse, PTSD, hallucinations/delusions, relationship issues, self-esteem/self-acceptance, grief, anger management and crisis services.

I am caring, easy to talk with and genuine. I believe we could all benefit from a non-judgmental sounding board and perspective at times in our life to help get through the everyday stressors of life, life stages/changes, trauma and mental illness or problems that affect our quality of life. I will treat everyone with dignity and respect having empathy and providing support, encouragement and empowerment to those in need.
