Garrett is a licensed professional counselor and registered play therapist. He earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Henderson State University. He specializes in utilizing play therapy to help children who are struggling with anger, hyperactivity, aggression, sadness, fear or withdrawal. Through this technique and others, Garrett works to improve relationships between parents and their child while combating negative behavior and improving social interaction. The goal of therapy is for a child to be happier, healthier and develop the skills needed to resolve issues when they arise. Garrett also enjoys working with older children, adolescents and adults.
