Welcome! I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you! Having been a natural helper from a young age, I feel that the counseling field is a perfect fit for me. I get great satisfaction from helping others live their best, most fulfilled life. I believe that sometimes we as individuals question our own judgment, feelings, and decisions and need validation. Other times we may need help with specific problems or just determining our next step in life or relationships. Whatever your situation, I am here to help! My ideal client is one who seeks to improve his or her life by enhancing personal functioning and relationships and is willing to work collaboratively toward these goals. My role as counselor will be to help increase your understanding of your situation, your beliefs, and your options. I will not tell you what to do but will assist you in making your best possible choice.

I have worked in the counseling field for 15 years and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I use techniques from multiple counseling theories including Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-focused, Reality, and Person Centered therapies depending on the needs of my client and consider myself to have an eclectic counseling style. I meet my clients where they are currently and help them access their own inner strength through unconditional positive regard, respect, and empathy.
