About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. I have 15 years experience working in the field of mental health and substance use. I have worked in a variety of settings to include community service boards, hospitals, foster care agencies and independent contracting. Through my years of experience I have worked with clients diagnosed with depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, schizophrenia, and bipolar. I have experience dealing with victims of trauma and those in a mental health crisis.

My therapy style is collaborative and holistic. My approach utilizes methods including cognitive behavioral, solution focused and mindfulness strategies. I will work with individuals to develop a treatment plan that promotes growth, healing, and overall wellness. I believe that overall wellness includes balance between mind and body.
