My name is Tonya Saunders and I am a Marriage and Family therapist Licensed in California with over 8 years old experience. I have worked with clients that came in with different concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, ADHD, grief, and self-esteem , and infidelity issues and more.

My therapy is genuine and authentic. I believe that everyone should be treated equal and is the expert at their own story. My approach to therapy is client centered, solution focused, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness therapy, and Emotional Focused Therapy.

My areas of interest include Addictions treatment, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, social skills training, grief, stress management, and life changes. As a therapist, I utilize techniques from cognitive-behavioral theories, motivational interviewing techniques, solution focused therapy and person-centered treatment. I provide a warm and calming demeanor which has served me well in establishing and maintaining rapport with my clients as well as furthering the treatment progress.
