About

Hello, my name is Dr. Glover; I’m originally from San Diego, California. I received my doctorate degree from Oregon State University in Counseling with a specialty in Counselor Education & Supervision. I have worked in the human service field for over 20 years. My experience allows me to walk through the journey of change with my clients in an empathetic, compassionate, and understanding manner. I have worked with individuals and couples, adolescents and adults. All experiencing a range of individual issues including but not limited to trauma, depression, anxiety, anger management, addictive behaviors, parenting challenges, and career challenges. I have worked in residential, outpatient, academic, and correctional settings.
My theoretical orientations are client center and individual therapy. Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Therapy. I view counseling as an interactive and holistic process utilizing experiential techniques. My role as a Counselor is to provide an atmosphere that will allow you the client the opportunity to grow and make your desired changes using interventions.
