Hello! My name is Tina and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing therapy services. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including: inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial and intensive outpatient care, and a variety of social service settings. I work with clients affected by depression, anxiety, relationship and parenting issues.

Originally from Michigan, I moved to Chicago in 1999 where I have worked for the majority of my career. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Michigan State University and my Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

My approach to therapy is client centered: you are the expert on your life and will determine the direction of therapy. I am Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT trained and a big believer in evidence based practice. Through CBT treatment, I help clients, explore the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to help identify dysfunctional thought patterns and work toward healthier thoughts and control over feelings . I use a variety of techniques and theories to help patients identify areas they want to change, while finding more balance and satisfaction in their life.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy reading, , spending time with my husband and children, and traveling.
