About

I am a licensed professional counselor and a licensed specialist in school psychology and have provided mental health services in the educational and clinical settings for many years. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of emotional and behavior disorders and/or special needs (autism, ADHD, OCD, and schizophrenia). I have assisted children, teens, and adults in learning new skills to manage, anger, depression, anxiety, stress, build confidence, self-esteem building, transgender issues, and various other situations such as emotional trauma and physical/sexual/emotional abuse. Additionally, I have helped families and parents who have children with special needs.
Life is challenging. Sometimes we face problems we’re not sure how to solve. When you’re unsure or overwhelmed, having someone to walk along with you on your path to growth and healing is important. I work with you to help you successfully overcome your challenges by finding your own answers. My approach to therapy includes discovering your strengths as you face bumps in the road. I work from a positive perspective, focusing on healing and wellness as we work together toward you finding a better and more fulfilling life.
