Hi, and welcome! Facing life’s challenges and obtaining victory over them is achievable. My goal is to walk with and help bring healing and peace to those who are struggling and desire a positive change in their life. A little about me to help you decide if you think we could be a good fit. I am passionate about assisting people to connect or reconnect with their true self while utilizing and enhancing their strengths. You may be wondering what that even means, and maybe the idea of connecting to your true self sounds a little strange; however, I understand how anxiety, depression, and other mental health struggles can blur and distort how we see ourselves and the world. Knowing this, there is nothing more rewarding than witnessing someone shed that distorted view and gain clarity about the awesome, unique, spectacular person that they truly are. I will support, encourage, and even get in the trenches with you to help you meet your goals.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Humanities, and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling with specialty training in crisis and trauma counseling. People working with me typically find me to be caring, compassionate, and supportive, and to have a good sense of humor. I have an integrative and eclectic therapy style utilizing techniques from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-focused therapy, expressive arts, motivational interviewing, and Christian counseling (if desired).

I am married and have one child in college. I also have three fur babies. I am always on the hunt for the next great book, awesome picture, and perfect cup of coffee.
