Hey everyone! My name is Tierra, and I expect my clients to address me as such no honorifics necessary! I do not see myself as a know it all guru but rather someone here to assist you in your own personal growth towards your goal. I focus on how the individual perceives themself in the world and how they think others perceive them in order to better understand that person's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. So, culture is a big part of my work. I am licensed in Texas with 4 years of professional work experience in outpatient clinical settings. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, LGBTQ+ related issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. Fun Fact: I'm both an SEC and ACC girl as I received my BS in Psychology from The University of Georgia and my M.Ed and Ed.S in Counselor Education from Clemson.
