Hi there! Congratulations to you for taking the first step toward a happier and healthier way of being. I’m Tonya and I’d like to be your therapist. I am a licensed professional, certified school counselor and national certified counselor licensed in Texas, I have over 19 years of experience working as a therapist and school counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges over a wide span of ages and developmental stages.

My counseling style is nurturing, supportive, and encouraging with a side of humor. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. We are all more than the labels society tries to put on us and we can redefine ourselves with the help of the right therapist. My approach combines solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic therapy. But my theory and approach is second to your unique and specific needs. I am here to serve you and support you in achieving your personal goals in therapy.
