Hello. My name is Thletha Yates. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Clinical Supervisor. I offer psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, youth, young and older adults. This includes all ages between 13 and up to centenarians. As a psychotherapist, I use a range of modalities that can assist with managing mental health and wellness in a healthy way. I am skilled and experienced to help with emotional challenges and some challenging psychiatric disorders. In therapy, it is always my intention to ensure that each individual feels safe and supported to gain a deeper insight into understanding their emotions including what makes them feel joy, anxious, anger, depressed, and more. I have more than 10 years of experience in professional counseling services. This includes private practice, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, residential, substance abuse recovery, and community services. My specialty includes clients with relationship problems, managing anxiety, depression, anger management, grief, impulsiveness, complex trauma, and controlling challenging behaviors. My experience extends from helping many individuals, couples, and families from diverse populations with anger issues, interpersonal challenges, low self-worth, family conflicts, relationship problems, adjustment challenges, complex grief, and trauma.
