Teresa Latonja Walker is a licensed clinical social worker. Teresa seeks to always engage with her clients in a way that encourages trust. She listens without judgment and assists clients in identifying their personal strengths, triggers, stressors, and goals. Teresa works with individuals, families, and groups using motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Teresa has been treating patients as young as 4 years old since 2014, helping them cope with mental health concerns including ADHD, anxiety, coping skills, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, trauma, PTSD, impulsivity, and personality disorders. In her spare time, Teresa enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and planting flowers. She loves movies so much that she’ll watch Christmas movies anytime throughout the year. Teresa enjoys working with SohoMD because of the work-life balance it provides her.
