Hi, my name is Taylor Henry. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience. I have spent several years working in a psychiatric hospital facilitating therapy sessions. I have experience working with substance use disorders, other behavioral addictions, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders. I have a certification in anxiety and panic disorders.

My therapy style is centered around your goals and what your emotional needs are when we meet. I accept you for who you are and will approach our therapy based on your understanding of the world. I bring a calming presence into our time together.

I use a cognitive framework meaning we will look at how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors affect each other. I also use a strengths perspective to help identify your strengths and allow you to use them effectively. Therapy activities that I promote are formal and informal mindfulness practices, Self-compassion, Acceptance, and gratitude. All of these practices are known to develop positive ways of thinking that lead to feeling better and unlock the process of healing.
