In therapy you have the opportunity to address challenges and struggles while learning effective coping skills in a non-judging environment. I assist you by providing a non-biased perspective and together we develop goals that are reasonable and achievable. As a mental health professional, I have had the remarkable opportunity over the last 15 years to work with diverse populations and a wide range of clients which include infants, children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. What is your approach to therapy? I specialize in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT); treating sexual abuse, physical abuse, PTSD, depression, anxiety and removal from birth parents/caregivers. I also work from a Family Systems and Solution Focused therapeutic modality in treating children, adolescents, couples, families, and adults. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? My goal for client's beginning therapy is to go from "surviving to thriving" in a healthy and constructive way. I want to aid my client's in learning and adapting healthy coping skills that can get them through challenging situations while hoping to unpack any unresolved trauma.
