Hello! Thank you so much for your interest in me as your therapist. Making the first step to seek therapy is huge! I look forward to learning what's bringing you to therapy and discussing how I may be able to help. to helping you navigate through this journey. My name is Tamra Dewbre. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in the state of Texas. I have been practicing for approximately 10 years. I have worked with all populations in that time. I have worked extensively with first responders and law enforcement and have maintained CISM training during the last 10 years. I have also worked extensively in substance use/abuse and addiction. I base my practices on The Humanistic approach of therapy. Humanistic therapy focuses on helping people free themselves from disabling assumptions and attitudes so they can live fuller lives. I believe every individual deserves the same compassion, happiness and opportunities in life regardless of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.   Feel free to reach out to me if you have nay questions.
