My duty as your counselor is to develop a positive, judgment-free, supportive therapeutic relationship, and create a safe environment for you to share comfortably and begin the healing process. Your duty in therapy is to trust the process by sharing honestly and openly about the challenges you are facing. So I’m here when you’re ready for a positive change. What is your approach to therapy? I’m able to help you through using a variety of theoretical approaches and techniques that compliment the morals, values and beliefs held by you and your family. I do often utilize cognitive, trauma and solution focused modalities that focus on your desired change. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? You can expect me to be understanding, validating and still challenging with direct, honest feedback. I will help to provide alternate perspectives, solutions and choices. I will also encourage cooperation and colaboration as we set and work towards goals.
