I’m excited you are considering me as your therapist, but more importantly, congratulations on taking the first step to ask for help! The key to any working therapeutic relationship is understanding who you are speaking with on the other side of the room/screen. So, here's a little about me! My name is Tami and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar, borderline personality disorder, parenting problems, anger, career challenges, ADHD, and quality of life interfering issues. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I have worked with adults, children and teens in inpatient residential treatment, crisis stabilization as well as private practice and groups. I also have experience working with teens at a juvenile detention center. My experiences in counseling have led me to work with teens, adults, and families. I love working with my clients to help each person reach their life worth living dreams, remove roadblocks that are keeping one from being their best self, and learning to respond to life’s stressors in a more effective way.
