I am a Licensed Professional Counselor that has been practicing almost 10 years. I both love and respect the discipline of counseling.

I have practiced in several different environments, to included private practice and within the health care system. I have experience treating adults for a variety of reasons including substance abuse, trauma, adjustment, grief, depression, anxiety, self esteem, crisis, and relationship issues. It is my objective to create an atmosphere of trust where individuals feel supported and secure, with confidence in their ability to engage in change and growth.

My view on counseling is integrative, focusing on a person centered approach including both cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused techniques. It is my goal to assist with change by allowing the individual to reconnect with their strengths and develop lasting coping strategies and patterns to create healthy and enduring experiences.
