About
Hello and welcome! I’m really looking forward to collaborating with you in your personal journey.
Sometimes we feel stuck, maybe like we are going around in circles and repeating patterns that no longer work for us. When that happens it can be helpful to speak with someone who is kind, knowledgeable and experienced-- and who is able to listen without judging, and who can ask the powerful questions which enable us to move forward in our lives.
I bring over twenty-five years of experience as a psychotherapist in a wide variety of settings. From my initial training at an in-patient psychiatric facility, I have worked in community mental health, group practice, and my own private practice. Over the course of the past twelve years I have had the privilege of working with active duty military personnel at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, and more recently with Veterans at the Atlanta VA.
I believe in providing a warm, safe and empathic environment in psychotherapy, without shame or judgement, because, when all is said and done, we are all human beings struggling to handle life’ s challenges and wanting to find our way to a fuller life.
