Life is challenging and at times and can be extremely overwhelming. Do you sometimes wonder how you are going to get through the day, let alone next week? Maybe you are struggling with feelings of sadness, anxiety, anger, confusion or grief, or perhaps you experienced a recent or past loss or trauma that has left you feeling stuck. I would be honored to help you navigate through it while helping you to gain skills, awareness, empowerment, and a sense of safety. How? I believe that a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental environment is key to lasting change. Therefore, I strive to meet my clients where they are, and with the compassion and empathic understanding they deserve. In my 15 plus years of counseling, my passion and expertise have led me to working with individuals, couples, families and children. I integrate multiple therapeutic modalities and have specialty training in addictions, grief, DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) and complex trauma. I am certified in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and processing) with a specialization in attachment, inner-child work and Post Induction Therapy.
