About

I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed with over 10 years of experience working with both adolescents and adults as a mental health and substance abuse counselor. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, substance abuse, anger management, and ADHD, and have also helped many people who have experienced childhood trauma or emotional abuse. My counseling style is warm and interactive, I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and doesn’t believe in stigmatizing labels. Using a combination of therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy, I will tailor both my dialogue and treatment plan to the individual’s unique and specific needs. I graduated with a Masters in Social Work from Savannah State University in 2007.
