Hi! I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I come into the therapeutic relationship with curiosity and compassion to support my clients to improve their well-being by reconnecting to themselves. I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals of all ages with diverse backgrounds – primarily focused with the Latinx community. I’ve worked with individuals affected by trauma, childhood and attachment trauma, racism, oppression, discrimination, first and second-generation immigrant issues, stress, educational/career/employment issues, life transitions, and parenting and relationship issues. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered. I strive to create a sacred space for my clients during their healing process; and believe that all individuals have it within them to reconnect to their strengths, recover, and heal. I value social and racial justice and take into account culture, environment, family background, and intergenerational patterns and trauma when working with my clients. I work to create a safe and welcoming space for my clients to support them in meeting their goals so that they can move from surviving to thriving. I integrate a variety of techniques, including mindfulness and body-based practices, to support my clients to shift unwanted patterns, reconnect to their spirits and bodies, and come to a practice of self-acceptance and self-compassion.
