About
Hey, there! Are you happy? Do you have questions that you just can’t seem to answer? Is there a feeling of disconnection or distraction? Do you feel like a spectator in your own life? Are you living your best life? These questions and many more face us all. As a counselor, my passion is helping you and your family answer that ultimate question with a resounding YES! In life we all struggle with our emotional health from time to time and through solution focused and cognitive behavioral counseling I work with you, my client, to resolve these concerns and promote growth. I believe every person deserves to live a life they find meaningful. Through the use of CBT techniques, existential therapy and person-centered therapy approaches, I help my clients to gain self-awareness and insight into their thought processes, feelings, and behaviors. I have a relaxed, open and collaborative style of working and connecting. I focus on understanding what has affected your life and the resulting emotions. Our focus together is to clear negative thinking and beliefs to shift the way you experience life in a way that works for you. I am a devoted advocate for equal access to mental health services for all. I am bilingual (Spanish & English). I have work experience in private practice and community-based outpatient facilities providing therapy services. I look forward to hearing from you!
