Welcome to counseling. Thank you for taking the time to reach out for help with some of the life issues you are experiencing. Counseling is a partnership between the client and the therapist. This is a journey that I look forward to taking with you. We will be working together to make positive changes in your life.
I am a licensed professional counselor and nationally certified counselor in the State of Michigan. I have had the privilege of spending the last 15 years doing what I love – counseling! My counseling philosophy is solution-focused integrating your strengths, wellness and spiritual beliefs. I use a combination of techniques including Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma Focused, and Dialectal Behavior Therapy based on your needs. My background includes serving diverse cultural populations with a wide range of challenges including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, ODD, mood disorders, crisis, abuse and trauma.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my pets (a rat terrier and cat). I am a mother of one adult son and I love to read.
