I believe joy and pleasure are our birthright, and life is meant to be enjoyed. If something is in the way of that, we often need some time to work through it before we can come out wiser and better for it on the other side. I work as a counselor because I want to be a part of clearing away the things that get in the way of your claim to satisfaction, peace, and contentment. I love being a witness to the powerful changes that can occur in people's lives when they take the time to focus on their own physical, mental, and emotional needs. I create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore who you are, what you need, and how you can reach for and gather more of what you want. ​
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a private practice in Maplewood, MO. I have been working as a counselor in the Saint Louis area since 2011. I have a non-judgmental, non-pathologizing approach to counseling. I believe that all people heal and grow through positive experiences where they are heard and understood by another person. I draw from a variety of different therapy styles and theories, and always tailor my approach to the specific needs, goals, and intentions of each client.
