Hello,

My name is Susan Mondaca, MS, LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years; 6 years post graduate degree. I have worked with clients from all ages and backgrounds with concerns such as Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder; Grief & Loss; Life stressors; Relationships; Family dynamics; Self-esteem; Trauma; and Co-occurring disorders. I am currently in the process of becoming a Certified Grief Counselor through the American Institute of Health Care Professionals. As well as recently beginning certification for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

My main therapeutic approach I use is Person Centered but I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with clients. Building rapport is my number one goal when meeting with a new client. A client needs to feel comfortable with the counselor in order to share their story. Making the decision to talk to someone is your first accomplishment in your therapeutic journey.
