Hi my name is Stephanie Henderson, LPC. I want to first welcome you to this safe space. I am so glad you are taking some time out for you! Seeking help can be difficult at times especially when it comes to our mental health. I’m glad you found the courage to take this step towards working through the circumstances that have brought you here. Studies have shown that every person could benefit from therapy at least one time in their life. Yep! That even means me. I have personally benefitted from therapy and hope that you will too.

One of my mantras is “Mental health is wealth”. I believe that as we work to become better versions of ourselves, we find that life is more enjoyable. Thats not to say we won’t have challenges and obstacles. We have them but we can learn to perceive them differently.

As a professional counselor, I have advanced experience and training in a wide variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse and perinatal(support during planning, pregnancy and postpartum) mental health with varying levels of severity. I view our work together as a partnership where I use an integrative holistic, person centered and solution-focused approach. I believe that in order to reach people, we have to meet them where they are. During our work together my goal will be to help you create a better quality of life using evidence based techniques to help towards some of your life goals, feelings of stuckness, challenges, and life transitions.
