Hi! I'm Stephanie, and I believe in the power of reaching out for counseling and the positive impact that counseling can have on helping you overcome hurdles. I have been a licensed counselor in Missouri for 7 years. I have worked with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and a host of other challenges.

I tailor my approach to the needs of each individual I work with. I draw from cognitive-behavioral techniques, a trauma-centered approach, and person-centered theory, meaning I always remember the individual is at the center of the relationship. I enjoy working first to alleviate any current symptoms that are interrupting your daily living, and then, should it be appropriate, going deeper into the core of how those symptoms came to happen. I also work with you to recognize the strengths you have, so you can draw from those as you build new habits and work toward a happier and more fulfilling life.
