Hi! My name is Sophie and I am a licensed clinical social worker in both CT and Fl for over 5 years. I have have worked with clients to meet them were they are at to start their journey in therapy. I have helped clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, major life changes. I also helped many people who have experienced medical problems that have affected their emotional well being. I have a past history of working doing virtual therapy, home visits and in hospitals.
My counseling style is warm and inviting- I hope we can build respect, compassion and empathy during our session to truly help you. Using motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy and problem solving and problem identification I hope we can accomplish your goals during our sessions to make everyday easier for you! I hope to be someone you can speak to openly. I encourage you to take the next steps in your journey- I know it is not easy to commit to therapy but I encourage you to begin today.
