Hi, I'm Sonya Don't feel like yourself, struggling with life challenges, feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, relationships not going well, looking for some direction? There's Help! I am enthusiastic about helping individuals and couples reconnect to what's important in their lives and restore balance! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in three states (Illinois, Georgia, Tennessee). I have been a psychotherapist for over 15 years providing individual, couple, and group therapy for stress. depression, anxiety, trauma, grief & loss, and relationship challenges. I have additional training or certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Solution Focus Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma Focused Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, Integrated Behavioral Couples Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Pastoral Counseling and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP). We will work together using various interventions, including evidenced based therapy, mindfulness, relaxation, and visualization techniques to help you better manage, stress, depression, anxiety, and relationships for an overall improved feeling of wellness. My style is motivational, collaborative, and interactive. You will experience a non-judgmental, caring, and compassionate environment.
