Hi, I am Sommer, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I am passionate about assisting individuals in regaining control over their lives and achieving the goals they set out for themselves! I have 7 years of experience in the field and am a Trauma-Informed therapist. Much of my training and expertise is in trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, emotional abuse, and Complex PTSD. I am gentle, yet firm in my approach and enjoy witnessing clients move from surviving to thriving in treatment. I am skilled and proficient in utilizing the Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Person Centered Therapy (PCT), and Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT) models in practice. While I'm not in session, I enjoy arts and crafts, reading, music, DIY projects, movies, and exercise. I prioritize my physical and mental wellness, as I can't pour from an empty cup. I aspire to continue to gain knowledge and skills to better myself, as well as assist clients in bettering themselves as well.
