About
I am a licensed clinical Social Worker in Arizona with over 10 years of experience working as a mental health therapist . I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, substance issues, and co-occurring disorders. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma or abuse.
My counseling style is direct yet empathetic. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy with a healthy splash of expressive arts therapy. Expressive Arts Therapy (EAT) is a multi-arts approach to psychotherapy and counseling, using creativity as a therapeutic tool to help spark change. Expressive Arts Therapy can include: art, music, drama, poetry, and dance/movement. EAT is centered on the process vs. the product.
I will tailor our conversation and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek support to create a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take that step I am humbled to be a part of your journey.
I look forward to working with you!
