Greetings,

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Florida and have been practicing therapy for 10 years. I have a Masters of Science in Marriage & Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors of Science in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida, Go Gators! My history of helping people runs deep into childhood. I'm one of those people who always knew I wanted to be a therapist and have been refining my skills through training, reading relevant material, and exposing myself to environments that promote growth. My clinical experience has brought me to private and community agencies, outpatient substance use treatment facilities, and private practice. I have experience working with a wide range of clients who may be dealing with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, substance use, relationship issues (including family, romantic, and friendship), self esteem issues, adjustment and crisis issues and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

I also have experience working as a Youth & Family minister for 8 years in St. Louis, MO. This experience highlighted the importance of spirituality while healing through pain and trauma. I welcome clients of any faith community as well as those who do not affiliate with any.

My approach is collaborative, we work together in creating the change needed. I believe healing and change are possible so long as there is a willing participant. I use a range of modalities to deliver customized person-centered care including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. What’s most important to me is that you feel heard, valued, and believed in. We all have stories that are important to hear, a voice that should be acknowledged, and goals that can be accomplished with the right support.
