I am licensed in Florida with 7 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, grief/loss, self-esteem issues, codependence, relationship issues, family conflicts, past childhood issues from neglect/abuse, adult child traits, and trauma and abuse. My therapeutic approach is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. I also like to be direct in gentle ways to challenge my clients and help them change self-sabotaging coping patterns that are not serving them. I like to teach them different perspectives and healthier ways of coping. As the old saying says, you cannot try the same things and expect different results. Change needs to happen to achieve different results. I also like to provide my clients psychoeducation about their unconscious reasons for their maladaptive behaviors so they understand themselves better.

My psychotherapeutic modalities are a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, humanistic, psychodynamic and Rational-Emotive Therapy. I will adapt our dialogue and treatment plan to satisfy your specific needs.
