I have over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field. My primary clinical experience has been working with adults and adolescents with mental health and substance issues and their families. The past eight years have been dedicated to those who are dually diagnosed with mental illness and substance abuse issues. These services were provided within individual, couples, group, and family session modalities. Additionally, she has experience working with domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. For ten years, I was the Substance Abuse Coordinator for the Human Services Program at Illinois Valley Community College, teaching Psychology and Addictions and Domestic Violence courses and being a professional speaker. My education began at Illinois Valley Community College in Oglesby, Illinois, earning an Associate of Arts and Associates of Science degree. I continued my education with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and a Master of Arts degree in Substance Abuse Counseling (MASA) from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois.
