Hi,
My name is Shequitta (Shuh qwee tuh) Lenoir, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota and Texas. I received my B.S. in psychology from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and my Masters in MFT from Argosy University in Eagan, Minnesota. As early as sixth grade, I have had the desire to help people and be a counselor. I have 13yrs of experience working in the mental health field providing therapy and skills to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, as well as drug and alcohol addictions. I typically use Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and some Solution Focused techniques to support people in working through their concerns. I enjoy working with people in boosting their self esteem, confidence and awareness so that they can live the best life possible.
